Short Term Disability insurance can replace a portion of your income during the initial weeks of a disabling illness or accident.

The Short Term Disability plan pays a benefit of up to 66.67% monthly earnings to a maximum of $7,500 per month.

Premiums for coverage are employee paid.  A portion of the disability benefit paid out upon a claim will be taxed.
